Dog Walk
Our Fifth Annual Four-Paws-A-Thon event will be held on Saturday, September
10, 2005 at Boardman Park.
Host - Laurie Lehosky from WFMJ Today
Registration will be in the Chester Long Pavilion, which is located just off the Hike and Bike Trail, from 9:30-10:00 a.m. with a $15.00 fee. You may also pre-register before September
1 for a $12.00 fee. Please send checks to Second Chance Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 4867, Youngstown, OH 44515 and indicate on the check that it is for the dog walk. Please
ask your friends, family and neighbors to sponsor you and your pet for
this event. Please bring
your pledges with you the day of the event. ALL
proceeds of this event support Second Chance in its effort to provide
good homes for the abandoned and homeless animals in our area.
A prize basket will be awarded to the person and
pet raising the most money, and each entry will receive a free
"Doggie Goodie Bag!"

– 10:00 A.M. Registration – $12.00 by

10:00 A.M.
Blessing of the animals by Father Noga.
10:15 A.M.
2 mile walk begins.
11:00 A.M.
Demo of dog training by Theresa from Petsmart.
11:30 A.M.
Contests begin – prizes for 1st, 2nd
& 3rd place.

Pictures - $5.00, including your choice of frame.
We will also have hotdogs, baked
goods, pop and water for sale.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
All dogs must
have proof of rabies vaccination with Veterinarian’s name
All pets must be
on leashes (please no retractable)
Female dogs in
any stage of heat will not be allowed to walk the route
Second Chance
Animal Rescue reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog that may
prove to be hazardous to others or whose physical condition appears to
be in jeopardy before or during the walk
Individuals may
walk with more than one dog, provided each dog is officially entered and
leashed
Owner responsible
for cleaning up after their own dog(s)
