Adopted 01/05
Name: Abbey
Born: 5/04
Entered Shelter: 07/04
Sex: Female
Color: Brown Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I’m Abbey. I’m just a kitten, and I came to the shelter with my four littermates after one of the volunteers rescued us. Three of my littermates have found homes, but Patch Adams and I are still waiting. I’m a very sweet little girl who loves to play and loves attention. If it’s a cuddly kitten you’re seeking, I could be the one for you! And if it’s two kittens you want, why not take me and my brother?
Relatives at Shelter: Littermates Herbie, Patch Adams, Percy and Tabitha

Adopted
Name: Aiden
Sex: Male
Color: Brown Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Adopted 12/05
Name: Alana
Entered Shelter: 06/05
Sex: Female
Color: Tortie
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name’s Alana. I came to the shelter with my sister Amaya. I’m a very nice little girl, despite the fact that I was a stray and had a pretty hard life before arriving at the shelter. Being a kitten, I am pretty active, so I’d do best in a home with at least one playmate. If you don’t have another cat already, there are plenty of wonderful young cats here from which to choose.
Relatives at Shelter: Littermates Amaya and Connor

Adopted
Name: Alex
Sex: Male
Color: Black and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Adopted 08/06
Name: Alex
Entered Shelter: 06/06
Sex: Male
Color: Red Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Alex. I was living outside on my own until someone cared about me enough to bring me here. Now I have another chance to find a real home where I’ll be appreciated for the wonderful cat that I am. I absolutely love people and love getting attention, but I’m not used to sharing with the other cats yet, so I may need to go to a home where I am the only cat.

Adopted 07/05
Name: Alexander
Entered Shelter: 04/05
Sex: Male
Color: White and cream
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Bio: Alexander is my name. I’m a very sweet and loving boy, despite the hard life I had before coming to the shelter. While I was living outside, I suffered a fractured jaw and leg (the vet thinks that I was hit by a car) and developed a nasty eye infection. On top of that, someone was threatening to shoot me unless I was removed from their property. Luckily, a nice man stepped in and saved me. I’ve healed up quite nicely and I am enjoying the good treatment that I get here, but I really would like to have a home of my own. Won’t you come visit me and see if I’m the right cat for you?

Adopted 02/07
Name: Allison
Born: 6/03
Entered Shelter: 07/03
Sex: Female
Color: Brown Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: Allison is my name. I originally came to the shelter with my mom and my five littermates—all of whom were adopted long before I was. I was finally adopted along with Bella, but after more than a year, we were returned to the shelter when our owner could no longer care for us. I’m a very nice, loving cat who just wants a home that will really be forever. Could it be yours?

Adopted 02/06
Name: Alouette
Entered Shelter: 11/05
Sex: Female
Color: Solid Black
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I’m Alouette. Before coming to the shelter, I was living on the streets, and I arrived a little banged and bruised (a few of my teeth are even broken off). As you might imagine, I’m a quiet girl and I’ve been keeping to myself so far. I really am happy to finally have all the food and water I could want and a warm place to sleep, it’s just a little overwhelming to suddenly be sharing a space with 80 other cats! If you would like a quiet cat who will always love you for giving her a second chance, please consider me.

Adopted 04/06
Name: Amaya
Entered Shelter: 06/05
Sex: Female
Color: Calico
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name’s Amaya. I came to the shelter with my sister Alana, who has already been adopted.
Relatives at Shelter: Littermates Alana and Connor

Adopted
Name: Amber
Sex: Female
Color:
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Adopted 09/07
Name: Amber
Sex: Female
Color: Tortie
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Amber. Aren’t I the cutest little thing? I’m a real sweetheart too. I love to be held and I frequently jump right into people’s arms. For some reason though, nobody wanted me, and I was living outside on my own. A nice woman found me and got me into the shelter though, so I’m a lot luckier than most stray cats. I sure am going to make someone a wonderful companion.

Adopted 12/06
Name: Andrea
Entered Shelter: 11/06
Sex: Female
Color: Gray and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Andrea. I’m a very nice adult cat who was dumped at a park. I was pretty thin and had a bad cold when I arrived, but I’m much better now and am eager to find a family who will give me a loving home. Could you give me a second chance

Adopted 03/06
Name: Andy
Entered Shelter: 10/05
Sex: Male
Color: Solid Black
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Andy. This photo was taken on one of my first days at the shelter, when I had a bad upper respiratory infection. Even though I was a little nervous and not feeling my best, I was very sweet and enjoyed the attention. That just shows you what a nice cat I am and what a loving, loyal companion I would be to you. Please give me a second chance.

Adopted 02/08
Name: Angelo
Entered Shelter: 08/07
Sex: Male
Color: Siamese Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: Angelo is my name. I’m a very nice and handsome little Siamese mix. You’d think that that would mean I’d have a wonderful home, but I’m a little bit different from other cats. You see, I have an enlarged right front leg. Maybe that’s why I was abandoned. A volunteer heard about me though and brought me here. Now I’m getting plenty to eat and drink and I’m receiving the veterinary care that I need. Like my leg, my heart is big, and I just want a home where I’ll be loved the way that I am.

Adopted 06/05
Name: Angie
Entered Shelter: 04/05
Sex: Female
Color: Black and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Angie. I was a stray cat trying to make the best of it living outside when a very nice woman found me. She recognized what a nice cat I am, but she couldn’t keep me herself. So she did the next best thing--she took me to the vet to have me spayed and treated for an abscess on my chin, and then she brought me here to the shelter. Now I’ve got a real chance at finding a forever family who will love and appreciate me for the sweet little animal I am. Will it be yours?

Adopted 10/07
Name: Angie
Entered Shelter: 12/05
Sex: Female
Color: Brown Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I’m Angie. One of the volunteers here found me living outside her work place in the middle of winter. Lucky for me, she brought me here. Now I have a chance to find the happy home that a sweet little cat like me deserves. I’m a younger girl, so I love playing and getting attention. I also get along well with other cats. Please give me a second chance.

Adopted 07/07
Name: Annabelle
Entered Shelter: 01/07
Sex:
Color: Brown Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I’m Annabelle. I came to the shelter with my littermates, Austin and Jake. Our mom was a stray cat, and we didn’t have much of a chance for survival until we came here. Luckily, somebody gathered us up and brought us in before the worst of the winter cold hit. Now we’ll be safe, warm, and well-fed and get plenty of human contact until we can be fixed and placed in a permanent home. If you’re looking for an active kitten (or two!), please consider one or more of us.
Relatives at Shelter: Littermates Austin and Jake

Adopted 07/05
Name: April
Born: 10/01
Entered Shelter: 04/02
Sex: Female
Color: Brown Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: The folks at the shelter named me April, because that's when I came here--back in 2002! I don’t know why I've been here so long. I'm not only a pretty girl, I'm really sweet. And I like to help out with the housework. Whenever the shelter volunteers are scooping boxes, I'm always right by their side to make sure they do it right!

Adopted

Name: Austin
Entered Shelter: 01/07

Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Bio: My name is Austin. I came to the shelter with my littermates, Annabelle and Jake. Our mom was a stray cat, and we didn’t have much of a chance for survival until we came here. Luckily, somebody gathered us up and brought us in before the worst of the winter cold hit. Relatives at Shelter: Littermates Annabelle and Jake

Adopted 09/07
Name: Autumn
Entered Shelter: 11/06
Sex: Female
Color: Brown Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Autumn. I’m an adorable kitten with a very distinct pointed little face, but that didn’t keep somebody from dumping me on the side of road. I could have easily been hit and killed, but luckily a volunteer found me and brought me to the shelter. Now I’m getting the medical care and attention that I need. I’m having a blast playing with the other kittens here, but I’d be even happier in a home--especially one with another kitten or young cat who could be my playmate!

Adopted 02/07
Name: Bandit
Entered Shelter: 11/06
Sex: Male
Color: Black and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I’m Bandit. I was here at the shelter before (my name was Henri) and was adopted with Ziggy. We were both returned to shelter, but not for anything that we did. Now that I know what it’s like to have a real home, I desperately want another one. I’m a very sweet, laid back boy, and I get along very well with other cats. Please consider giving me a home that really is forever—maybe even with my pal Ziggy.

Adopted
Name: Baxter
Sex: Male
Color: Black and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Adopted 07/08
Name: Baxter
Entered Shelter: 11/06
Sex: Male
Color: Black and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: Baxter’s my name. I’m another sweet little kitten that someone just threw out like garbage, probably because they didn’t want to go through the “trouble” of having my mom spayed. A volunteer found me just in time, since I was very sick and weak and desperately needed care. I’m getting along just fine with everyone here at the shelter, but I’d really like--and deserve--a forever home. Could it be yours?

Adopted 08/06
Name: Bella
Born: 7/01
Entered Shelter: 07/04
Sex: Female
Color: Gray Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Bella. I'm a big, sweet girl who likes to talk. I originally came to the shelter with my two housemates, Baxter and Claude, when our owner had to relinquish us. Then I was adopted with Allison, but after more than a year we were returned to the shelter when, once again, an owner could no longer care for us. I’m a very nice cat who will provide you with companionship (and conversation!) for years to come if you only give me a chance.

Adopted
Name: Ben
Sex: Male
Color: Black and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Adopted 06/06
Name: Bentley
Entered Shelter: 06/05
Sex: Male
Color: Brown Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I’m Bentley. I suffered a bad case of ear mites and an ear infection while living outside as a stray, and now I have a slight head tilt. If you’ve got room in your heart for a lovable and lop-sided guy like me, please contact the shelter.

Adopted 06/05
Name: Bernie
Born: 12/03
Entered Shelter: 12/04
Sex: Male
Color: Brown Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I'm Bernie, and I'm about as loving a cat as you'll find. In fact, I was enjoying the attention from the volunteers so much that I could barely sit still to have this photo taken. I'm a pretty laid back guy and took to the other cats at the shelter very quickly, so I should do just fine in a home with other pets. If you're looking for an affectionate full-grown cat, I could be the one for you.

Adopted 07/06
Name: Bernie
Entered Shelter: 02/06
Sex: Male
Color: Cream Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Bernie. I’m a very quiet, mellow cat who loves being petted. I may have been abused at some point, because I get a little nervous when people move toward me quickly and raise their hand. But when you approach me slowly and talk to me so that I know you don’t mean me any harm, I’ll warm up to you very quickly. Please give me the loving home that I deserve.

Adopted 11/06
Name: Bianca
Entered Shelter: 03/06
Sex: Female
Color: Solid White
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Bio: I’m Bianca. I am one of eight very nice cats who came to the shelter after one of our owners passed away and another had to be institutionalized. Despite our misfortunes, we are all very sweet, trusting animals, and we’re anxious to find new loving homes. If you can give one or more of us a second chance, contact the shelter today.

Adopted 02/08
Name: Blake
Entered Shelter: 07/07
Sex: Male
Color: Gary Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: Blake’s my name. I’m an adorable, affectionate, and, of course, active little kitten. Hard to believe someone wouldn’t want me, but that’s what happens when people don’t get their cats fixed. I have a stumpy, curled tail, which only adds to my charm. I’m going to be a wonderful companion to someone out there. What do you say?

Adopted 03/06
Name: Blondie
Born: 7/03
Entered Shelter: 05/04
Sex: Female
Color: Brown and Red Tabby with White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: Blondie is my name. I'm a big, sweet, mellow cat, and I’d make a wonderful pet for you. I am very easy going and love lots of attention – I would be at your side all the time and would love to curl up with you in bed at night. Please come and see me.

Adopted
Name: Bogie
Sex: Male
Color: Brown Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Adopted 02/08
Name: Bonnie
Born: 11/03
Entered Shelter: 02/04
Sex: Female
Color: Black and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Bonnie. I'm a younger girl, and I came to the shelter with my brother Clyde. We were aptly named because, like most kittens, we liked causing a little trouble. Clyde has since been adopted. I miss him, but I keep pretty busy looking for trouble and attention. If it's a playful, affectionate, younger cat that you want, come see me.

Adopted
Name: Brendan
Sex: Male
Color: Brown Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Long Hair

Adopted 12/04
Name: Brianna
Born: 11/96
Entered Shelter: 11/02
Sex: Female
Color: Brown Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: Hello, I'm Brianna. I'm not only a beautiful girl, I'm a very sweet one. I'm not one of the (mostly younger) cats that are all over shelter visitors as soon as they walk in though, so I often get overlooked. If you come and visit me, you'll see that I love attention as much as any kitten and I’d make an excellent companion for you.

Adopted 8/07
Name: Brianna
Entered Shelter: 11/06
Sex: Female
Color: Solid Black
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Bio: Brianna is my name. My “owner” left me in a box outside of a store. Luckily it was a cat lover who found me, and she got me into the shelter. I’m a nice little cat with a beautiful coat and I get along well with other cats. No one here can figure out why I was abandoned, but at least now I have the chance to find a proper home.

Adopted
Name: Bridgett
Sex: Female
Color: Gray Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Adopted 11/07
Name: Brittany
Born: 11/02
Entered Shelter: 09/03
Sex: Female
Color: Gray and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: OK, maybe I'm not the sex kitten you think of when you hear my name, but I am a pretty cat. Wouldn't you agree? And I do love a lot of attention. Come visit the shelter and see for yourself.

Adopted 09/07
Name: Brody
Entered Shelter: 07/07
Sex: Male
Color: Brown Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I’m Brody. I am a very handsome, affectionate little boy who, sadly, was unwanted. Unlike a lot of unwanted kittens, I was fortunate enough to end up at a shelter. It’s better than being on the streets, but it’s no home. I have so much to offer. Won’t you please give me a second chance?

Adopted 05/06
Name: Buttons
Entered Shelter: 08/05
Sex: Female
Color: Solid White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Buttons. I was recently returned to the shelter because my owners suddenly decided that they didn’t want cats anymore. It’s certainly better than ending up on the streets, but I really miss having a home, and I’m anxious to find another. I’m quite a striking cat with my bright white fur and beautiful blue eyes. I absolutely love to be petted, but I don’t make a nuisance of myself trying to get attention. I am also front-paw declawed. Please give me a second chance, and you’ll see what I great companion I can be.

Adopted
Name: Caitlyn
Sex: Female
Color: Brown Tabby and White
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Adopted 08/05
Name: Caitlyn
Entered Shelter: 05/05
Sex: Female
Color: Solid Black
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Bio: I'm Caitlyn. I'm a very sweet little kitten that came to the shelter with my sister and my mother. As you can see, I'm also a very pretty little thing. No one here can believe that someone would dump a great little animal like me, but they did. At least now I've got another chance of finding a home where I'll be loved for as long as I live. Maybe it could be yours!
Relatives at Shelter: Mother Nina and Littermate Chloe

Adopted 10/07
Name: Caleb
Entered Shelter: 09/06
Sex: Male
Color: Solid Black
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Caleb. I came to the shelter with my brother Luke, my mom Dori, and two more of her kittens from a previous litter, Stacy and Steffie. It’s a good thing that we all made it to the shelter when we did, or our family would have just kept growing and we would have had to fight each other for what little food we could find. Now we’ll have a nice safe place to stay until we find forever homes.
Relatives at Shelter: Mother Dori and Littermate Luke

Adopted 03/05
Name: Calvin
Born: 10/04
Entered Shelter: 12/04
Sex: Male
Color: Cream Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I’m Calvin. I was living outside with my mom and siblings, but after my siblings got hit on the road, someone brought me here. I was pretty happy to get here too, because it was really starting to get cold outside. What would make me happiest of all though is getting into a home. So if you’ve got room in your heart and home for a sweet, playful little boy like me (and maybe even my mom, Jessica), please contact the shelter and let them know.
Relatives at Shelter: Mother Jessica

Adopted 09/05
Name: Camilla
Born: 1/04
Entered Shelter: 07/04
Sex: Female
Color: Solid Black
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: My name is Camilla. I'm a very nice, somewhat shy girl. I might not run up to you as soon as you walk into the room, but just pet me and you'll see how affectionate I really am. If you’re looking for a nice calm cat, I might be the one for you. Just come meet me and you'll see.

Adopted 02/05
Name: Capri
Born: 5/04
Entered Shelter: 11/04
Sex: Female
Color: Siamese Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Bio: I’m Capri, and I’m new to the shelter (that’s why I was in a cage for my photo). I was a stray and wasn’t looking forward to the cold winter ahead of me. Luckily, a volunteer found me and brought me here. I’m not only a very friendly girl, I’m very unusual looking as well. You might call me a tortie-point Siamese tabby! Come visit me and see just how pretty and sweet I am.
